Women on Walls (W.O.W.)
Women on Walls, also known as W.O.W., is an international collective of women muralists operating under the Siqueiros Foundation of the Arts. Spearheaded by muralists Gloria Favela Rocha Mural & Painting, Inc. (CA LIC #963657 C-33 Commercial & Residential Painting and Anna Siqueiros SFOA CEO, W.O.W. was founded to elevate women’s voices in public art while collaborating with other female muralists to bring powerful visual concepts into fruition as a non-profit. Together, the collective creates large scale murals and public art experiences that inspire communities, celebrate culture, and transform public spaces through artistic collaboration.
W.O.W. is more than a mural team. We are cultural visionaries who understand the power of art as a tool for connection, identity, and social impact. Our artists come from diverse backgrounds and artistic disciplines, creating a dynamic collective capable of producing murals that resonate deeply with the communities they serve. Through color, storytelling, and design, we transform blank walls into meaningful landmarks that celebrate culture, history, resilience, and hope.
What sets Women on Walls apart from other muralist teams is our unique perspective as women artists working collectively in a field that has historically been male dominated. Our projects are approached with a strong emphasis on collaboration, communication, and community inclusion. We believe murals should not only beautify spaces, but also create opportunities for dialogue, healing, and empowerment.
As women muralists, we bring sensitivity, emotional intelligence, and a nurturing approach to the creative process while maintaining the professional skill, technical execution, and leadership necessary to complete large scale public art projects. We are experienced in working with municipalities, nonprofits, developers, schools, cultural institutions, and private businesses to create custom murals tailored to the identity and vision of each client.
Women on Walls collaborates with fellow female artists from varying artistic backgrounds, allowing each project to embody a rich diversity of styles, perspectives, and creative voices. By working collectively, we are able to conceptualize and execute murals that are visually impactful, culturally relevant, and deeply connected to the communities in which they are created.
W.O.W. specializes in:
- Large scale public and private murals
- Community engagement and participatory art projects
- Cultural and historical storytelling through visual art

Women on Walls proudly stands as a symbol of creative leadership, cultural empowerment, and artistic excellence. Through every mural we paint, we continue our mission of “Putting Color into a Concrete World” while creating opportunities for women artists to thrive and lead within the public art movement.
